"I was in a new, updated room the first night and it was great--the second night not so much. It was less expensive, but I would have rather been given the option to pay more for a nicer room both nights. We were in town for a wedding and made arrangements at the front desk on Friday night to check into our other room early on Saturday b/c we would be out and about with wedding festivites. The guy on Friday was very helpful. When I went to check in on Saturday the girl gave me a hard time. She wanted to give me a king bed, I needed two doubles, she ended up giving me a smoking room and I wanted non-smoking. She made a point to tell me that it was higly unusual that they let people check in that early. I understood that this was not something that is common, but I thought we had everything squared away Friday night. The breakfast buffet was a nice bonue for the money."

"I thought the outside color of the hotel was terrible. I didn't like the fact that I could not open a window. The bedding was nice. I was not able to get good, hot water from the shower."

"Door was left open after maid service. When I informed the front desk, they obviously couldn't care less. Breakfast buffet understaffed and out of everything, with a long line waiting. Had to go to desk to get towels since maid left none. Room was supposed to be a king, but was only a queen. This was obvious since a King headboard was still in the room.
For an older hotel, the upkeep was good, and cleanliness was good. The Uno restaurant was good, but was out of several entrees, and closed way too early for a downtown, hotel restaurant."
